iPhone & Apple Watch

Privacy Policy

Picktennt · Version 2026-09-25.1

1. About this Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Idddeas LLC (“Idddeas,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the Picktennt application for iPhone and Apple Watch (the “App”), and the choices available to you. Please read it together with our Terms of Use.

2. Who is responsible for your information

Idddeas LLC, located in Miami, Florida, USA, is responsible for the personal information described in this Policy. For any privacy question or request, contact us at info@picktennt.com. We use third-party service providers—such as hosting infrastructure and diagnostics providers—to process information on our behalf, and such processing takes place in the United States.

3. Information we collect

Account and profile information. Your name, email address, username, account identifier, and profile information you provide. We also record the version and time of your acceptance of the Terms of Use and acknowledgment of this Policy.

Match (game) information. Results, match events, player slots, and related information you record in the App.

Activity and health information (via Apple HealthKit). With your permission, the App reads information such as heart rate, active energy, steps, and workout data in order to show you metrics for your matches. This health information is processed locally on your device and Apple Watch and is not transmitted to our servers. Deleting the App removes its local copy on that device; it does not delete records already saved in Apple Health or copies on your other devices. See Section 11 for details.

Technical and diagnostic information. The initial iPhone and Apple Watch release does not enable third-party in-App analytics or crash reporting. Our authentication and hosting services may process operational information, such as network requests and security logs, to operate and protect the service.

Support information. If you contact us, we process the information you provide in order to respond.

4. How your information is stored and transmitted

Account information is processed by our authentication service. Game information is stored on your devices and synced to our servers to back up your history and restore it to your account. Health information remains on your device and Apple Watch and is not sent to our servers (see Section 11). Where information is transmitted to our servers, it is protected in transit using HTTPS/TLS encryption and encrypted at rest under our infrastructure provider’s standard configuration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

5. How we use information

We use information to:

  • operate, maintain, and secure the App, including recording and syncing matches and history, showing you your metrics, and providing support;
  • analyze and improve the App and our services; and
  • send account and service messages, and provide marketing and advertising as described in Section 8 and subject to applicable permissions.

Future uses (not active at launch). Subject to applicable notices and controls, we may in the future use non-health game and account information to train statistical and machine-learning models, to build audiences, and for advertising, including sharing information with third parties for advertising without disclosing your name (see Section 7).

Health and fitness information is excluded. We do not use health or fitness information for marketing or advertising, regardless of its source. The analytics, model-training, audience, advertising, and third-party-sharing purposes above apply only to non-health game and account information. Health information is never used for advertising, marketing, or audiences and is never shared with third parties, consistent with Apple App Review Guideline 5.1.3.

6. Legal bases for processing

Where required, we rely on the legal bases available under the laws applicable to you, which may include your consent, the performance of our contract with you, and our legitimate interests in operating and improving the App. If we activate advertising, audience-building, or third-party sharing in the future, we will obtain prior opt-in consent where required (for example, in the EU and UK) and provide an opt-out where required (for example, in certain U.S. states).

7. How we share information

Service providers. We share information with third-party providers that process it on our behalf, such as hosting infrastructure and diagnostics providers, with processing in the United States. We do not identify these providers by name in this Policy.

Advertising partners (planned, not active at launch). In the future, we may share game, usage, and audience information with third-party advertising partners—such as search, video, social, and email advertising services—tied to pseudonymous or device identifiers and without disclosing your name. This is not active in the initial release.

Health information. We do not transmit health information to our servers, and we do not sell or share it with third parties. This exclusion is unconditional and prevails over any other provision of this Policy. When you use HealthKit and the App Store, Apple processes information under its own policies.

8. Marketing and advertising

Marketing and advertising are part of Picktennt's free-service business model, as described in Section 9 of our Terms of Use. The App may display advertisements, sponsored content, and promotions for our products and services and those of third parties as those features become available.

We may use your account email address to send marketing from Idddeas under the Terms where applicable law permits. Where separate consent is required, we will obtain it before sending marketing; accepting the Terms alone does not provide that separate consent. Every marketing email will include an unsubscribe link. You may also contact info@picktennt.com to stop marketing email. Unsubscribing does not close your account or remove ordinary in-App ads. Account, security, and service messages may continue.

Acceptance of the Terms is not permission for cross-app tracking or promotional push notifications. Any required permissions will be requested separately, and declining them does not prevent use of the App. Health and fitness information is never used for marketing or advertising. Advertising networks, audience sharing, and personalized advertising are not active in the initial release. Before introducing new data uses, we will update this Policy and obtain any required permissions.

9. Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove the account and its associated game records from our active service. Offline devices remove account data when they reconnect and receive the deletion state. Backup copies and operational logs may remain subject to our service providers’ retention cycles; account deletion does not promise instant erasure of every backup. Limited deletion and security records may remain to prevent deleted data from being restored, to protect the service, or where required by law. Records saved in Apple Health remain under your control and may need to be removed in the Health app.

10. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw your consent.

  • Health permissions. You can grant or revoke the App’s access to HealthKit at any time in your iOS or watchOS settings.
  • Account deletion. In the App, open Settings → Delete Account to request deletion of your account and associated information. The retention and device limitations in Section 9 apply. You can also request removal of Picktennt workouts from Apple Health during deletion; if removal cannot be completed, manage those records in the Health app.
  • Advertising choices (future). If we activate third-party advertising sharing, we will provide an opt-out (including a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” choice where applicable).
  • Marketing choices. Stop marketing emails through their unsubscribe link or by contacting info@picktennt.com. Any separately requested permissions can be declined or withdrawn. These choices do not remove ordinary in-App advertisements.
  • To exercise any right, contact us at info@picktennt.com.

11. Health information (Apple HealthKit)

This Section describes how we handle health and physical-activity information and forms part of this Policy.

What we access. With your permission, the App reads heart rate, active energy (calories), steps, and workout information through Apple HealthKit to show you metrics for your matches.

Where it is processed. Health information is processed and stored only on your device and Apple Watch and is not transmitted to our servers. Your Apple Watch may sync a match to your own iPhone through system features, but health information does not leave your devices for Idddeas. Deleting the App removes its local copy on that device; it does not delete records already saved in Apple Health or copies on your other devices.

How we use it, and what we never do. Health information is used only on your device to show you your own metrics. We do not use it for advertising, marketing, audiences, or model training; we do not sell it; and we do not share it with third parties. This exclusion is unconditional, consistent with Apple Guideline 5.1.3. The advertising and sharing activities described in Sections 5 and 7 apply only to game and account information—never to health information.

Your control. You can grant or revoke the App’s HealthKit access at any time in your device settings. With your permission, Picktennt can save a completed pickleball workout to Apple Health when you choose to save it. Health access is optional and separate from accepting the Terms or creating an account. You can use the scoreboard without granting Health access.

Your responsibility for locally stored information. Because this information remains on your device and within your control, you are responsible for protecting your device—through a passcode, biometrics, device encryption, backups, and control over who can access it. We do not receive this information, do not store it on our servers, and are not responsible for its safekeeping, loss, or unauthorized access on your device. This does not limit any mandatory consumer rights you may have.

Regulatory note. Because health information does not leave your device, its regulatory footprint is reduced; even so, specific consumer-health-data laws may apply depending on your market.

Cloud backup. Game-history backup is already available. HealthKit-derived heart-rate, calorie, step, and workout-summary fields are excluded from the server sync.

12. Children

The App is intended for people 18 and older and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please contact us.

13. International transfers

Your account and game information is processed in the United States. If you are located outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed there. Health information is not transferred, as it remains on your device.

14. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and encryption at rest under our infrastructure provider’s standard configuration. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

15. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will indicate the date of the latest version and, where changes are material, provide notice by reasonable means. We maintain a version and date reference for each version.
